To unlock, we need to trim the fat

Stamford Square is the forgotten end of Altrincham’s high street. Like many other provincial towns, retail redevelopments of the last century are no longer fit for purpose, especially in a post covid world. Invited, by land owner Bruntwood, to reimagine the high street, we propose to open up the square, bring in more natural light, soften the hard lines and ultimately bring it to life.
