Princess Street

Boutique hostel in Manchester

Located within the Albert Square Conservation Area, this project looks at the renovation of an Edwardian Building on Princess Street into a boutique hostel.

A new ground floor, extension encloses the restaurant terrace, as well as providing a first floor external terrace as part of the hostel social space. Both the restaurant and the hostel entrances will be housed in the same structure as part of a common architectural language, but the two functions will be denoted by complimentary materials.

Upstairs, the building makes use of its height to provide four floors of dormitories.
