A new type of industrial shed

The project is for a new 40,000ft2 industrial development near Liverpool to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’. Due to the financial restrictions on the project, we have proposed to creatively utilise some key principle elements of the building. Areas of polycarbonate cladding will provide a sense of transparency and illumination to the steel structure and space within. The concrete cladding panels to the base provides a solid plinth to the light cladding and transparent elements above. The entrance is articulated with a vibrant colour and a chamfered recess back to the entrance door to provide both relief and visual interest to the elevations
